I bought four ornaments this year with Pepper, Tasha, Kota and Shadow’s names on them. They were from the canine cancer research foundation and are made of glass. Since we took the tree down there was much crying. I bought them with two of the four left. We packed them up with only one of the four left.
I have been talking with a breeder of Icelandic Sheepdogs and think I might go this route for the next dog. They are Kota/Shadow sized and while not tall but light like a BC, they seem like good family dogs and that is what we will need next fall. We shall see.
It seems like all the dogs I met in the dog.com forum back in 2005 and 2006 are slowly dying off. It’s so sad as I have seen some from young adulthood through now. Even though I have never met them I feel as though I know them and their loss is very keen.
