My birthday was great this year. Kris sent me flowers and balloons to work which was awesome. I got over a hundred wishes on FB for my birthday.
Kris got me the best, saddest and most beautiful gift. A hand painted water color closeup of Kota. The artist captured his smile and his eyes so well. The colors are in purples, pinks and yellows. It really is quite stunning.
And it is sad because that look on his face was missing for the last month. He was dull and not the same as he used to be. So I hope that over time I can look at it and not cry for the spirit that used to exist in him.
